Inspire support young people aged 11-18 living in Wrexham or Flintshire. Inspire support young people in hospital and in the community who engage in self-harming behaviours. Inspire aim to build self-esteem, and increase problem solving and assistance seeking skills. Any health professional can refer you to inspire for one to one support including CAMHS, School nurses and G.P’s. Inspire can offer around 8 informal sessions to work with you to complete goals that you feel would help to improve your wellbeing. Sessions can take place wherever you feel comfortable – at home, in school or in the community. The work inspire can complete is very varied as it is led by you but it can include working on coping strategies, confidence & self-esteem, sleep and managing emotions. Inspire can also support you to get involved in a new interest or hobby, support with education, employment or voluntary work, signposting to specialist services or diversionary activities. You may also see inspire in schools delivering education sessions on topics around emotional health and wellbeing.
