Voting
However, only 41% of the country ever turns out to vote. In fact, under half of 16-24-year-olds in the UK are even registered to vote.
To vote in an election or referendum in Wales, you have to be 18 years* or older on the day of the vote and you must be on the electoral register.

In England, Scotland or Wales, you can register to vote online at gov.uk/register-to-vote.
